SOLAR, SOUND & U.V. CONTROL

Our resin pour interlayer offers unlimited applications over any other type of laminated glass. This includes optimum control over the thermal performance in both residential and commercial designs:

Solar:
Controlling heat gain is a common objective for home and building owners, especially in warmer climates. Control over this element is possible by allowing the laminated glass to absorb and reflect a portion of the solar radiation. This aspect of the Glasslam system can realize a cost reduction in cooling. This can also work in reverse by allowing an increased level of solar transmittance, thus reducing the cost of heating.

UV Control:
In addition to the reduction of heating and cooling costs through the use of solar control, this element of the resin pour system also provides protection against ultraviolet radiation. The interlayer used in the resin pour system filters up to 99% of ultraviolet radiation. This UV blocker prevents the fading of interior furnishings inside homes and commercial buildings.

Sound:
The resin pour system offers a barrier against all levels of noise pollution: aircraft, construction, road traffic, and other low frequency range noise. This system is an excellent solution for sound reduction and is proven to produce better sound deadening results than other laminated glass products on the market.
